Who we are

Lasting transformation begins with small seeds of opportunity.

Mustard Seed Impact International creates pathways toward healing, empowerment, education, economic opportunity, leadership and community transformation. We work with immigrants and refugees, women, young people and community members who are building new lives and stronger communities.

We do not simply provide assistance. We help people build capacity, restore dignity, develop skills, create opportunity and lead within their own communities.

Why our work matters

Capacity, not dependency

People arrive with skills, ambition and responsibility. What is often missing is access — to language, networks, capital, information and rooms where decisions are made.

We start with dignity

Participants set their own goals. Our role is to accompany, train and open doors.

We work through community

Programs run with local leaders, congregations and partner organisations already trusted on the ground.

We measure and report

Indicators, outcomes and finances are published so donors and communities can hold us to account.

Impact stories

Stories told with consent and care

We publish participant stories only where informed consent exists. Names and identifying details may be changed to protect privacy.

First stories coming soon

Our team is collecting stories from participants who have chosen to share them. They will appear here and in the impact section once consent and review are complete.

How we approach storytelling

SDG alignment

Our contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

We list only the goals our current programs genuinely contribute to.

  • SDG 1

    No Poverty

Entrepreneurship, financial literacy and employment pathways support household economic stability.

  • SDG 4

    Quality Education

English language classes, tutoring and digital literacy widen access to learning for adults and young people.

  • SDG 5

    Gender Equality

Women's leadership, mentorship and economic participation sit at the centre of our programming.

  • SDG 8

    Decent Work and Economic Growth

Career preparation, business training and mentorship connect participants to dignified work.
